Payton Bryant is a twenty-year-old who was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. Payton grew up in church but didn’t start following Jesus until the age of 11. At the age of 12, Payton knew that God had called him to ministry but kept that call tucked away. When Payton was 16 he preached for the first time and began getting opportunities to go to different schools and share the gospel. In 11th and 12th grade Payton led a ministry in his high school called “The CHILL” where he preached most Fridays and grew in his preaching and leadership gifts. After high school, Payton spent his summer doing an internship with Chris Dew Ministries where he began to learn more about preaching. Payton then attended NewSpring Leadership College for the course of two years. Though he matured in his giftings as a leader and communicator, he also began to view God the Father for who He truly is and he began to have a clearer understanding of what it means to lead and preach in the Church. Payton is now an apprentice and second speaker for Chris Dew Ministries. The burden on Payton’s heart is to help guide others towards the heart of God and help them see that because of the Gospel people can live and walk in complete freedom. When Payton isn’t traveling and preaching he loves spending his time working out, hanging out on the lake, and unashamedly playing racquetball with his friends.
