On June 17, 2021, we had the opportunity of preaching at NewSpring Recovery. We discussed how addiction is a complex issue that is a result of the Fall. We talked about how we tend to oversimplify the problem of addiction and how any solution outside of Jesus is insufficient. We then closed with the fact that the Gospel, gets to the root of addiction and overturns every result of the Fall. It gives us a new heart, heals diseases, gives us the mind of Christ, pays for our sin, conquers the enemy, provides inner healing, and reconciles us to God to worship Him freely.
