When we view the world through a perfectionistic, performance-oriented, pain-adverse, and comfort-addicted cultural lens, we will crumble under the weight of our weakness. But when we have our minds renewed with a Kingdom lens where our highest aim is our sanctification, God’s glory, and Kingdom advancement, we will actually take pleasure in our weakness because we know that’s the avenue that best accomplishes this purpose.
